I worked dogs from Cass County and Sioux City this afternoon. Jay’s dog just won the Police K9 Nationals and he was ready to step up his protection. Rob wanted to work on Moose’s grips and Mark, well he thinks his dog is perfect.
Jay’s dog is young and really nice and clear. We are going to work on his grips and attitude, but I see great things in the future for this dog.
Rob’s dog had some problems with grips a couple sessions ago. We already had one session and made a lot of progress in just that one session. From the video you can see Moose is constantly driving into me and has virtually no problems with physical contact or pressure.
Marks dog turned out to be ticklish, but I doubt anyone will have time to tickle him if he is on a bite.
I included some new toys in the training, the clatter stick, a milk bottle full of rocks and water. All of the dogs had clean heads when we were done. I’ll get video up of the other two dogs, but here is Moose working me over.

Celine put an “oral Bridge” on Tea today with marijuana. Tea is starting to do a nose bump as her indication which is what Celine is looking for.
Celine has been working hard on getting Tea finished, before she leaves for Connecticut to see Nana and Pepe. Well tonight, Celine worked Tea on cocaine and got the fourth and final odor she needed.

U is my personal dog and he is trained as a dual purpose K9. He started out in IPO, then I trained him in Mondio Ring, but after his Brevet I didn’t have any time to compete with him.
He was my training dog at Alpha K9 when I went through the Trainers course and he did great.
Here is a video of U doing some protection work at my old training center. My son made the video for a class in school and gave it to me.
