Celine Goes Tracking
Celine went tracking with me today out at the turf farm. We are lucky enough to have access to the fields at Fast Grass for our tracking. They are huge and always in good shape, which makes it easy for us to teach the dogs how to track.
In the photo Celine is tracking Yari, a Belgian Malinois that has been tracking for about three weeks. Tracking is a great way to decompress and enjoy a nice walk with a dog. The bonus is you are actually working, and working the dog at the same time. All while taking a walk out in nature. I really enjoy tracking. I was able to spend time with Celine, teaching her how to lay tracks and work the dogs, so that made it even better.
Celine is leaving tomorrow to visit her Nana and Pepe in Connecticut for a couple weeks. Then she is headed back to Washington to get ready for school. It’s been great having her visit with me in Nebraska on her summer vacation. I’ll miss her a lot when she leaves. She worked very hard while she has been here, every day up at 7:00am and working until 9:00pm without a single complaint. Celine also helped train our K9s and even trained her dog Tea on narcotics. Tea will miss her, but I bet they are back together soon. I promise to take good care of Tea until they are together again.
Thanks for all the help Celine, having you here made the summer lots of fun, I really will miss you.
